The U.S.S. Brooke DEG-1/FFG-1 Association held it's fourth annual reunion at the DoubleTree Hotel in New Orleans, LA September 24-28, 2005. What started out to be a normal get together of old shipmates, families and friends, turned out to be anything but "normal". Being caught in what was called the "Storm of a Lifetime", Hurricane Katrina, reunion attendees will forever remember this as "The Reunion". While I have made every effort to capture the warmth, camaraderie, laughter, and fun that occurred over those four days, I have also added a section dedicated to the storm. I would like to thank everyone who sent me photos to add to this memory. As more photos come forth I will add them to this page and provide appropriate acknowledgements. As for the captions beneath the photos: I take full responsibility for my attempt at wit, or lack thereof.
