Saturday, September 30, 2017 Jacksonville Tour
Saturday was the last day of "tours" and we wrapped them up with a tour of the city of Jacksonville. The city did a great job of cleaning up from Hurricane Irma and we saw little of the damage that occurred. We had the opportunity to learn a great deal about the history of the city and visit the Duval County Veteran's Memorial Wall outside of the city's football stadium. Our next stop was the River City Brewing Company for lunch where we had a great view of the, now receded from the hurricane surge, St Johns River. After we finished we headed back to the hotel to rest up for the evening's banquet.
