Thursday, September 28, 2017 Mayport Naval Station, Anheuser-Busch Brewery, 'Pizza Night"

Thursday we headed off to the Naval Station at Mayport. After a tour of the base we stopped at the Chief Petty Officer's Club, one of the last remaining in the Navy, and viewed the historical memorabilia that the club had acquired over the years of it's existence. Then it was of to the site of the former base Officer's Club for lunch. Great view, great food. After leaving the base we proceeded to the Anheuser-Busch brewery for a tour of the plant and, more importantly, the "tasting room". Nice way to end the afternoon. Finally, we returned to the hotel for our annual "Pizza Night" and cake cutting ceremony. A full day with many events creating many memories.
