There is no doubt that the members of the Brooke reunion, and other tourists that were trapped in the DoubleTree Hotel, would have faired much worse if it were not for Mr. Pat Shimon, General Manager of the hotel and his staff. Their professionalism went far above and beyond the norm in ensuring that everyone was provided with as much comfort and assistance as the situation would allow.
